Seth Rollins Teases Possibilities For His ‘Mystery Opponent’ At WrestleMania 38

Seth Rollins Teases Possibilities For His ‘Mystery Opponent’ At WrestleMania 38 WWE

Just in case Mr. McMahon hasn’t settled on an opponent for him at WrestleMania, it seems Seth Rollins has some suggestions.

Either that or he just has some guesses about the identity of his WrestleMania 38 opponent, taking to Twitter tonight (March 30) to send a series of gifs and the #WrestleMania hashtag.

Sending out the series of Tweets during the airing of AEW Dynamite on the east coast, Rollins teased facing Veer Mahaan, Shane McMahon and finally (and perhaps most off-script) Mustafa Ali.

Update: Seth didn’t stop there, about an hour later also tweeting gifs of John Cena, Rob Van Dam and Scott Steiner.

Ali hasn’t been seen on WWE screens since October 29, 2021, when he lost in a squash match on SmackDown, falling to Drew McIntyre in about two minutes.

Ali has been public about his request for release from WWE due to desiring more substantive work as he feels he is in the prime of his career however isn’t being utilized.

Posting on social media with the hashtag #FreeAli, fans have also rallied around the underutilized high-flyer who has struggled to find his place on the WWE roster.

While Rollins’ ‘mystery opponent’ has been widely speculated to be a re-debuting Cody Rhodes, as is always the case in WWE – the card is subject to change!
