Seth Rollins Described This WWE Spot As ‘A Terrible Decision’ WWE

Seth Rollins describes the bump that was totally “not worth it,” and so painful that in the moment, he suspected his career was over.

Making some media appearances on behalf of WrestleMania 39 at the Super Bowl, Seth Rollins spoke to The Dan LeBatard Show where he was asked about what bumps he had taken that he regretted after the fact.

Rollins said:

“I’ve taken a couple of falls off the side of Hell in a Cell structure… and I’ve fallen off the side of that a couple of times through our announce desk and the most recent which was five or six years ago at this point I thought ‘That was it, I’m never getting up. That’s the end of it. I don’t know if I’m gonna be able to move my legs after this,’ it was so painful I thought, ‘I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to wrestle again,'”

Rollins went on to confirm for the co-host that the spot was in fact, not worth it as it wasn’t even his match!

Describing it as “calamity” at the end of the match, somehow by which he ends up going off the side of the cage.

“… Taking a huge bump off the side of the cage that I didn’t need to take or want to take and it wasn’t even my match. So no, it was not worth it. At all. It was a terrible decision, I wish I hadn’t done it. But here we are, still doing it…”

Rollins went on to describe viewing his past as lens through which all roads lead to his very blessed life today so he isn’t mad at the spot… but no, it wasn’t worth it!

Rollins is referencing a very wild indeed Hell in a Cell match between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman from the pay-per-view of the same name in 2018.

The match is often remembered for the calamity that ensued shortly after Rollins’ fall from the side of the cage (alongside Dolph Zigger) as then it was Brock Lesnar’s music that hit, to enter an create even more bedlam.
