Plans have emerged for Seth Rollins at WWE WrestleMania 42, taking place this April in a return to Las Vegas.
Seth Rollins has been sidelined due to injury since WWE Crown Jewel in October of last year, though he has previously stated he was ‘eyeballing’ a return at WrestleMania 42.
With the upcoming WWE Premium Live Event taking place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18 & 19, details of the plans for Rollins have emerged.
In the current issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it’s reported that Rollins vs. Bron Breakker is currently scheduled. The Observer states:
“Right now the belief is Rollins will be ready for Mania and face Breakker in a singles match, since it was Breakker who did the storyline injury after Rollins suffered a shoulder injury, believed to be a torn rotator cuff, that required surgery, from a bad landing doing a coast-to-cost head-butt spot in the champion vs. champion match with Rhodes at Crown Jewel in Perth on 10/11. That match has been confirmed to be on the schedule for the show.”
Rollins was written off television through an attack at the hands of Breakker that also saw him ejected from The Vision as a storyline angle to cover the injury he had sustained.
With WrestleMania 42 just over two months away, the current match card for both nights can be found right here.
