Several AEW Dynamite Re-Tapes Revealed

Several segments from last night’s August 22 episode of AEW Saturday Night Dynamite on TNT have been revealed as having to be re-taped.

According to Fightful Select, there was a segment involving Kip Sabian, Penelope Ford, Britt Baker and Reba that took place in a gym. However, this was originally filmed in the ring but had to be re-shot due to time constraints.

The Dark Order had a pretty emphatic end to the show, but during an earlier match, a back elbow spot had to be re-done due to one of the wrestlers getting caught in the ropes.

And thirdly, Ivelisse & Diamante, who won the women’s tag team tournament, had to re-do their entrance, which is said to be due to cameras being out of place.

It’s also been reported that a mention of a huge WWE star was edited out of the show, which you can find more details on here.

AEW won’t have the luxury of editing as it goes live with fans in attendance starting next week on August 27.
