Several AEW stars have taken part in a photo shoot with a NFL star.
All Elite Wrestling has always had a connection with the National Football League thanks to their owner Tony Khan’s father Shad being the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Tony Khan himself works directly with the team and has even featured former coach Urban Meyer on AEW television.
The AEW President took to Twitter to post a photo of several stars like Toni Storm, Jade Cargill and more with Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
Later, Tony Khan went on to admit in a separate tweet that the shoot was affected to a current storyline in All Elite Wrestling with Nyla Rose stealing the TBS Championship causing Jade Cargill to use a replica belt.
@NylaRoseBeast We had to use a replica belt for the @ITV/@wembleystadium promo shoot today due to your shenanigans. You’re a menace.
Rose stole the TBS Championship from Cargill after her successful defense against Willow Nightingale at Battle of the Belts IV.
Both women will be featured on the October 21 edition of AEW Rampage with Jade Cargill saying that she will hold the show hostage until her title is returned.
