IMPACT
Former IMPACT Tag Team Champions Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows recently left IMPACT Wrestling due to a contract expiration, with them dropping the titles to Matt Taven and Mike Bennett before their departure.
Well, it seems as though history may be about to repeat itself in IMPACT with the Tag Team titles, per Fightful Select (subscription required), several current deals are set to expire with IMPACT over the next month.
Of those deals include those of Matt Taven and Mike Bennett of the OGK, who currently hold the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship, and are set to defend the titles against Aussie Open and the Motor City Machine Guns.
Maria Kanellis, Bennett’s wife, confirmed to Grapsody that the tag champions’ deals are up soon, also noting that her contract with the company is set to expire after Bound For Glory, with her stating that she has had contact with WWE, AEW and WOW Women of Wrestling over the past year.
It was also noted earlier this year that Mia Yim is signed through to October with IMPACT.
