Three names from the independent wrestling scene are set to be making an appearance at AEW Dynamite tonight, Wednesday, October 12 and there may be more.
Fightful Select (subscription required) reports that social media and TikTok stars The Voros Twins, will be at the taping.
The twins, Chris and Patrick Voros are based in Vancouver, BC and were pictured with Chris Jericho on October 11.
Jody “Wild Child” Threat is another name said to be at the tapings. Threat hails from Ontario, Canada, and has been making quite an impression on the independent scene.
Threat previously had a tryout with WWE during SummerSlam week in 2019. The indie star notably assisted Trish Stratus in preparing for her in-ring return against Charlotte Flair.
The October 12 edition of Dynamite marks the debut of AEW in Canada. The event will take place at the Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto, ON.
Ring Of Honor Champion Chris Jericho is set to continue his attempt at desecrating the title by facing former ROH titleholder Bryan Danielson.
“Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn will face Swerve Strickland after accepting Swerve’s challenge during the National Scissoring Day celebration.
The match card also sees Jungle Boy up against former friend and tag-team partner, Luchasaurus, Pac vs Orange Cassidy, and a tag match featuring Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida against D.M.D Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter.
