Several Late Changes Made To This Week’s Raw

The WWE Raw we saw this week looked ever so slightly different to the WWE Raw we were scheduled to see just a few hours prior to the show.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Carmella was originally scheduled to face Bianca Belair in a singles match early in the show. Bianca instead ended up facing Carmella’s tag team champion partner Queen Zelina, while Carmella took part in a six-woman tag team match later in the show.

Fightful notes that they weren’t given any reason for the change, but were told it happened on short enough notice that it wasn’t reflected internally near the start of the show.

Fightful also notes that Seth Rollins was slated for a guest commentary spot for a match on the show, presumably Kevin Owens’ United States Championship match with Damian Priest, but that didn’t end up happening.

Finally, WWE originally intended to air the ‘Royal Rumble by the numbers’ video, which instead went up on YouTube after the show.
