Last night’s episode of NXT featured several great matches. The two first-round Dusty Rhodes Tag Tean Classic matches went down well, but the four-way which was won by Keith Lee at the end of the show was a particular highlight.
WWE will inevitably try to continue this momentum next week, and have announced three exciting bouts for the show.
It was confirmed on this week’s show that Alex Shelley will be making his NXT debut next week when he reunites with his former NJPW partner KUSHIDA. The duo will face Grizzled Young Veterans from NXT UK.
In the final first-round match for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, it was confirmed that Pete Dunne and Matt Riddle, who will be going by the name of The Broserweights, will take on Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews.
It was also announced that next week, we will see a female battle royale where the winner earns a shot at Rhea Ripley’s NXT Women’s Championship.
One of the participants in the match will be Chelsea Green, who made her NXT TV debut last night by aligning herself with fellow former Impact star Robert Stone.
