Several Returns At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event 2024

There were several returns at tonight’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event including a pair joining the broadcast team.

To kick off the show, there was a vintage return as Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura appeared alongside Joe Tessitore.

Ventura and Tessitore aren’t at the commentary desk but appeared on a podium to introduce the show, with Ventura talking up the Undisputed WWE Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens.

However the surprises for the broadcast team wouldn’t end there as Michael Cole on ringside commentary would be joined by another familiar face.

Pat McAfee returned to hop on the desk for Saturday Night’s Main Event on NBC ahead of his return to WWE Raw on January 6 on Netflix.

The opening match of the show saw Drew McIntyre beat Sami Zayn in a singles match.

Also appearing as shown in the crowd, Tito Santana, Rich Hering and Jimmy Hart. Shown in the crowd later were Greg ‘The Hammer’ Valentine and Koko B Ware.
