Several WWE stars are now being regarded as “free agents” due to going unpicked during night one of the WWE Draft during SmackDown and Talking Smack.
There were of course separate pools for night one and night two, but there were four names from night one who went undrafted.
Those four names were Shorty G, Mickie James, Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado. The rules on WWE’s website note that if anyone is a free agent they’ll be able to sign with a brand of their own choosing.
Mickie James suffered a broken nose in a recent match so she’ll be out of action for a couple of weeks anyway. Metalik & Dorado were listed as Lucha House Party alongside Kalisto, but the rules say brands have the option to draft team members separately. Kalisto was drafted to SmackDown on his own.
As of this writing there’s no explanation as to why poor Shorty G went undrafted.
Worth mentioning is that WWE doesn’t neccessarily always stick to its own rules so don’t be entirely surprised if any of those four names get drafted on Monday. Miz & Morrison were in Monday’s pool but got drafted last night instead for reasons unknown.
