Several Stars Return On AEW: Dynamite

The Coronavirus has caused a lot of issues for wrestling companies. Obviously, not having crowds has caused wrestling to be presented very differently and some would argue less effectively.

However, one of the bigger issues has been missing key components of the roster. WWE has seen guys like Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns stay home.

While those are certainly big losses, you could argue AEW not having PAC, Pentagon, Hangman Page, The Young Bucks, Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy and even MJF for portions of the quarantine are bigger blows for them.

First, it’s a larger percentage of the roster. Secondly, all of these guys were parts of major storylines that were set to carry through to Double or Nothing.

Tonight, AEW got a lot of those guys back. PAC cut a promo. It was taped and he wasn’t there, but it was a good sign that he was able to cut a promo on behalf of Fenix. It was great to see him back on television.

Additionally, The Young Bucks and Hangman Page returned to AEW television tonight. The Sammy Guevara and Matt Hardy match ended with a Twist of Fate, but Jericho and The Inner Circle attacked Kenny Omega.

As they were beating him down with a bat, The Young Bucks appeared in the stands. They came to the rescue.

Eventually, The Inner Circle got the upper hand. At this point, Hangman Page made a 100 yard dash in Cowboy Boots to make the save.

Man it was good to see Hangman and The Bucks back on television. JR made it such a point to put over the fact we hadn’t seen them, that you knew they were showing up. However, it didn’t ruin the excitement of having them back!
