Several stars are “struggling” to make it to tonight’s AEW Dynamite due to flight cancellations according to Tony Khan.
Tonight’s AEW Dynamite is set to emanate from the LJVM Coliseum in Winston-Salem, NC, and is set to feature big matches such as MJF Vs. Kyle Fletcher in an AEW American Championship eliminator and a first-ever one-on-one match between Bryan Danielson and Jeff Jarrett.
However, hours before the show AEW President Tony Khan took to Twitter to send out a pre-warning that many stars had experienced flight cancellations, and as a result were “struggling” to make it to Dynamite.
According to Khan, those already announced for the show have either already arrived, or are en route – however, the “travel mayhem” as he put it, was restricting him from making further announcements.
Khan wrote:
With flight cancellations, several AEW wrestlers are struggling to get to #AEWDynamite tonight!
Thankfully everyone announced for tonight’s show is here or en route! I’ve held back other announcements anticipating travel mayhem + will change accordingly!
See you on TBS tonight!
It’s unclear which stars are the subject of these delays at this time and how this will effect what Khan had planned for the show, outside of the already announced action.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates as/when they become available.
