Several Titles To Change Hands At WWE TLC

Unless you’re AOP or Jinder Mahal, you generally don’t expect to lose your titles on weekly TV, as strap swapping is mostly saved for PPVs. If rumour is to be believed, we could be seeing a number of new champions at WWE TLC this Sunday (December 16).

Cagesideseats are reporting that we could see as many as three title changes this weekend, with Seth Rollins, The Bar and Becky Lynch the champions that may need to watch their backs.

Betting websites currently make The Usos the favourites to regain the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships in their triple threat with current champions The Bar and the New Day.

Grumpy germaphobe Dean Ambrose looks set to take the Intercontinental title from former best buddy and Shield brother Seth Rollins, and the greatest human on earth Becky Lynch could be dropping the title to current favourite Asuka.

This is actually a pretty rare phenomenon in WWE, as all these changes would actually make sense.

As much as fans don’t want Becky to lose the title, it would free her up to win the Royal Rumble in January and therefore challenge Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35, as is the rumoured plan.

The Bar haven’t been particularly inspiring champions, and the Usos are arguably the best tag team on the planet at the moment. As for Dean and Seth, Rollins is rumoured to be heading for a Universal Title feud down the line, and therefore he needs to drop the belt to do so.

It all makes sense!
