News has emerged on several firings taking place in WWE today, including a top member of the creative team.
UPDATE: Another WWE firing has been revealed – click here for the latest.
As reported by PWInsider Elite, Christine Lubrano is among the names that have been let go from the company.
Lubrano served as WWE’s Senior Vice President of Creative Writing Operations.
She had been with WWE since February 2021, with her role reportedly being to “oversee all strategic operations for the company’s creative division”.
This meant the creative teams for Raw, SmackDown and NXT all reported to Lubrano and Bruce Prichard, with the two of them then reporting to Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque (Triple H).
The report notes Lubrano’s departure “marks another significant change within WWE’s creative leadership structure as the company continues to evolve under the TKO Group Holdings umbrella.”
The belief is at least 10-12 members of WWE staff were fired today, possibly more than that.
The departures are across several different departments including photography, creative services and more.
As of this writing, the only confirmed specific name to have been let go is Lubrano.
We’ll keep you posted with any further updates as they emerge.
