Several former WWE stars are officially now free agents as their 90-day clauses have expired after being released.
While the most recent WWE releases occurred on May 2, there was also a group of talents that were let go earlier this year on February 7.
As of today, May 8, it has now officially been 90 days since February 7, meaning those talents are free agents and can now work elsewhere.
The talents that were released on February 7 were Cedric Alexander, Giovanni Vinci, Elektra Lopez, Akam, Rezar, Paul Ellering, Blair Davenport, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and Isla Dawn.
Sonya Deville’s departure emerged at the same time, but hers was a contract expiration rather than a release, so the 90-day clause didn’t apply to her – as soon as her contract expired, she was a free agent as of that moment.
Becoming free agents today, Gallows and Anderson officially announced they will be the Young Bucks’ partners in an eight-man tag match against the Bullet Club War Dogs at NJPW Resurgence tomorrow.
Cedric Alexander tweeted:
Free Agency is officially underway
The main roster WWE talents who were released on May 2 will become free agents on July 31.
The NXT talents released that date will become free agents on June 1, as they have 30 day clauses instead of 90.
