Shane Haste Questions Whether Fans Will Get Sick Of Triple H Running WWE WWE

Former WWE star Shane Haste (fka Slapjack/Shane Thorne) has shared his honest reaction to Triple H taking over WWE creative.

Following Vince McMahon’s retirement, Triple H assumed all responsibilities related to creative.

In an interview with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Haste noted that he has been hearing positive things about the change, but noted that he can see fan reactions changing over time.

Questioning whether fans will eventually get sick of the changes, Haste said:

“I don’t know, we’ll see (about changing fan reaction), because RAW and SmackDown used to be different but it is a burnout process. It depends on how long they can keep it up for. Who says in a year or two that we don’t get sick of this formula and people say ‘it’s too much change, I can’t keep up with it’.

“People are fickle, as they say. It is good though. I hear good things. I don’t watch it, but I see things on the internet and it looks like there is good buzz (surrounding the product).”

Haste was released from his WWE contract in November 2021. He has since wrestled for the likes of NJPW and PWG, but confirmed to Fightful that he is currently a free agent.
