Shane McMahon Congratulates Family Member Following Award-Winning Movie’s Official Release WWE

Shane McMahon has congratulated a family member following the Netflix release of their new movie, which has already won a number of awards.

Following its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January, and a limited theatrical release in early-November, Train Dreams officially premiered on Netflix on November 21.

Marissa McMahon – the wife of Shane McMahon – was one of the producers for the movie, which was directed by Clint Bentley, with a screenplay by Bentley and Greg Kwedar, based on Denis Johnson’s Novella of the same name.

Shane McMahon has now taken to Instagram to publicly congratulate his wife, sharing the poster for the film.

He captioned his post:

Train Dreams follows a logger who works to develop US railroads, while struggling to find his place in the changing world.

Lead actor Joel Edgerton has received several awards for his performance in this movie, from bodies including the Chicago International, Savannah, Mill Valley, Middleburg and Deauville film festivals.

Train Dreams has also been nominated for awards by several notable organizations, including Best Feature and Best Adapted Screenplay at the Gotham Film Awards.

The movie is also expected to be a contender heading into the mainstream awards season.
