After his heel turn at Fastlane, Shane McMahon explained his heinous actions, stating that his former tag team partner was riding his coattails. Shane would go on to add that he enjoyed beating up the former WWE Champion right in front of his father.
Shane played up his new heel persona, forcing ring-announcer Greg Hamilton to call him the ”Best in the World” with ”conviction”. Shane would state that he is the best in the world because he was ”born that way.”

Well, it now appears that Shane and Miz will do battle at WrestleMania 35. With Miz absent from the show, McMahon ‘required’ Miz to participate, stating this was not a challenge. Shane would promise a ”best in the world beating” on his former co-bestie.
