Shaquille O’Neal AEW Return Match Revealed?

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has pitched an interesting match for his AEW return, following his in-ring debut for the promotion in 2021.

O’Neal stepped into the ring for the first time at WWE WrestleMania 32 in 2016, teasing a bout with ‘Big Show’ Paul Wight during the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

The Shaq vs Paul White giants match has yet to take place, with Shaq only returning to the ring one other time, to team with Jade Cargill to defeat Cody Rhodes & Red Velvet on the March 3, 2021 edition of Dynamite.

Diamond Sheik has now shared a video with Shaq, showing off a diamond ‘Billion Dollar Belt’.

At the end of the video, Shaq issued an intriguing challenge, calling for him and Diamond Sheik to face Wight and ‘whoever else you want’.

Diamond Sheik notably designed the AEW Dynamite Diamond Ring. He currently trains at the Nightmare Factory, the wrestling school owned by QT Marshall and Cody Rhodes.

Paul Wight last wrestled in March 2022, at a set of AEW Dark: Elevation tapings.
