WWE/TNA
Both Shawn Michaels and Ava have broken their silence following WWE NXT’s invasion of TNA Wrestling during last night’s episode of iMPACT.
The Thursday, November 13 episode of iMPACT saw a shock conclusion as the stars of WWE NXT invaded the show, attacking Mike Santana during his scheduled match with Ryan Nemeth.
NXT’s Lexis King, Charlie Dempsey, Robert Stone, Tyriek Igwe, Tyson DuPont, Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo and Brooks Jensen left Santana laying in the ring, leading to his match with Nemeth being thrown out and paving the way for Call Your Shot Gauntlet co-holder Frankie Kazarian to cash-in and dethrone Santana.
Following the actions of her roster, WWE NXT General Manager Ava took to Twitter to deny having any knowledge beforehand of what took place.
She wrote:
i had nothing to do with this
Hours after Ava’s statement, WWE NXT boss Shawn Michaels also commented in response, writing:
I’m looking into it.
Tonight sees TNA host their Turning Point pay-per-view from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, with former TNA World Champion Mike Santana teaming with Steve Maclin to take on Frankie Kazarian and Nic Nemeth.
