Check out this adorable video of Shawn Michaels congratulating a new WWE champion backstage tonight at NXT (June 13).
After Nathan Frazer beat Oro Mensah on tonight’s episode of NXT, there was a sweet celebration backstage.
While the Heritage Cup was set to be defended by Noam Dar, ahead of the match he announced that he was injured and needed to be replaced by fellow Meta-Four faction member Mensah.
It’s unknown whether Dar is legitimately injured or if it was just part of the storyline, but we’ll keep you updated.
Frazer would go on to win the Heritage Cup match and after the match, celebrated backstage with Shawn Michaels.

Shawn Michaels had a busy night, also announcing a huge lineup for the next two weeks of NXT, calling the series of special editions, NXT Gold Rush.
Next week’s June 20 NXT Gold Rush will be main evented by Bron Breakker challenging Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, as well as Cora Jade taking on Dana Brooke, and a big three-way tag team match.
Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger, and Malik Blade and Edris Enofe will all do battle to determine who will be the number one contenders to Gallus’ NXT Tag Team Championship.
Also next week, Wes Lee will put his NXT North American Championship on the line as he takes on Tyler Bate with Mustafa Ali serving as the special guest referee.
In the second special edition of NXT Gold Rush on June 27, still more hard hitting action to come.
Set for the second week of Gold Rush, Gallus will defend the NXT Tag Team Championship against the winner of the tag team three-way from the week before, and NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton will put her title on the line against Thea Hail.
And as mentioned earlier, the NXT World Champion Carmelo Hayes will face off against Baron Corbin on the second special Gold Rush edition of NXT.
