Shawn Michaels Sends Message To Je’Von Evans Before WWE Raw Debut Match

Shawn Michaels has sent a message to Je’Von Evans ahead of Evans’ WWE Raw debut at Madison Square Garden tonight.

Evans faces the returning GUNTHER tonight in the first round of the ‘Last Time Is Now’ tournament to decide John Cena’s final opponent.

It will be NXT star Evans’ first ever match on Raw and his fourth on the main roster, as he’s had three on SmackDown to date.

Michaels, who runs NXT and has high praise for Evans as one of the brand’s top stars and a potential future star in WWE, shared a message for Evans ahead of tonight’s landmark match, writing:

“Just be you tonight young man. It took you all the way to The Garden… and after that the sky’s the limit.”

Michaels’ comment was in response to a video posted by WWE of a fan praising Evans outside Madison Square Garden before tonight’s show.

The fan was praising Evans for being himself and not conforming to what others feel like he should be doing and how he should be acting.

Evans will also be in action tomorrow at WWE NXT Gold Rush, as he and Leon Slater challenge DarkState’s Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin for the NXT Tag Team Championship at The Theater in MSG.
