Ahead of WWE NXT second episode on The CW, Shawn Michaels and Triple H have spoofed their DX State of Union address from 1997.
In 1997, D-Generation X’s Shawn Michaels and Triple H had a famous skit where they parodied a “State of Union” address, saying swears that they wouldn’t say during Monday Night Raw.
Ahead of NXT’s second episode of The CW from St. Louis, WWE posted a video with DX spoofing their own segment, speaking about what words they would use on the program. The post reads:
In the video, Triple H said they would use words like “flex”, “slay” and “sus” during the hours of 8 to 10 p.m.
Michaels closed the address by promoting WWE NXT on The CW Network every Tuesday.
