Shawn Michaels has discussed William Regal’s involvement with NXT.
After leaving All Elite Wrestling, William Regal made his return in a backstage role with WWE.
Upon his AEW departure, it was believed Regal was returning to his role with NXT, but it has since been reported that he has been at every Raw and SmackDown taping.
Speaking on today’s NXT Stand And Deliver media call, Shawn Michaels addressed William Regal’s involvement with the brand. According to Jon Alba, he said:
“Steve’s obviously a huge part of NXT and its origins. I will say this, at least for the immediate future, Steve’s been doing more stuff with the main roster than he’s been doing with us.”
Michaels also suspected that William Regal will be working with NXT again.
As previously reported, Shawn Michaels also praised Sol Ruca and Tiffany Stratton for their progression since coming to the NXT brand.
