Current WWE Star To Use Shawn Michaels’ Nickname Going Forward?

It seems a current WWE NXT star may be using Shawn Michaels’ nickname going forward after paying homage to Michaels on TV.

On last week’s February 7 edition of NXT, Jacy Jayne recreated the Michaels/Jannetty barbershop segment when she kicked Gigi Dolin during a special edition of ‘Ding Dong Hello’ hosted by Bayley, turning on Dolin and splitting Toxic Attraction.

Jayne then appeared on last night’s NXT a week later to ‘explain her actions’, and it was made clear the idea is for her to be a heel and Dolin to be a babyface.

Following up on the segment last night, Jayne posted a tweet with what could be her new nickname going forward, and it seems the tributes to Michaels, who books NXT, will continue.

She wrote:

“A new era ✨ call me the Heartbreak chick”

And if there isn’t a plan for ‘The Heartbreak Chick’ to be her nickname going forward, well… there should be.

It’s likely that Dolin will return to TV some time in the next few weeks to set up a big match between the former tag team champions, potentially for NXT Stand & Deliver on the afternoon of WrestleMania night one.
