Shawn Spears spoke with CBR.com about his “partnership” with MJF. Spears discussed how the two ended up being paired together while being in the audience during the recent Dynamite airings.
He says Tony Khan actually gets a lot of credit. He said Khan told him to just go out there and have fun.
Spears would go on to talk about how a lot of people consider MJF to be a king of social media. Spears has a bit of a different opinion:
“When you say MJF is the master, c’mon. He’s cut and dry. What you see is what you get. You know, when you look at that guy, he’s injured. Yeah, he’s a little pompous. He’s over the top. He’s young. He’s a kid. He’s got time. All right.”
Spears said he likes to have more balance with the fans. Where MJF only wants to insult fans, he prefers to have more of an interaction.
He also likes to choose his spots when picking on people like Cody Rhodes and his fans. He tweeted some insults about people who made a big deal out of May 4th. He made fun of “nerds” who like StarWars.

Whichever route you prefer, Spears and MJF have had some fun spots and the wrestlers in the crowd has made a significant difference for the viewers at home.
