Shayna Baszler & Natalya Added To Women’s Tag Team Championship Match At WrestleMania 38

A change to a major WrestleMania Sunday tag team match was made on tonight’s (March 18) episode of SmackDown.

In an inter-brand showdown, SmackDown saw Naomi & Sasha Banks taking on Raw’s Liv Morgan & Rhea Ripley with the champions Carmella & Queen Zelina watching at ringside.

While both teams got in some impressive offense, there was no conclusive victor as the pairing of Shayna Baszler and Natalya made a run in attack on all of the women, including the champs. 

After the assault, Sonya Deville saw the duo backstage and noted that she liked what they did, and accordingly, she was adding them to the Women’s Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania 38 making it a four-team affair.

Also scheduled to take place at WrestleMania Night 2 on Sunday, April 3, 2022, Sami Zayn versus Johnny Knoxville, AJ Styles versus Edge, Pat McAfee versus Austin Theory along with a giant matchup between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.
