Shayna Baszler Names Top NJPW Star As Her Dream Intergender Opponent

Shayna Baszler has named a top NJPW star as her dream intergender opponent.

Intergender wrestling has long been a controversial topic within the professional wrestling world.

With major promotions like WWE and AEW shying away from pitting men and women against one another, there are still plenty of independent promotions across the world who will often use the dynamic to entertain their fans.

In a new interview with Dark Puroresu Flowsion, WWE star Shayna Baszler gave her own insight on intergender wrestling and noted that she would love to face Minoru Suzuki one day. She said:

“l am a fan of intergender matches if they are done properly. The problem is, they often aren’t.”

“As for me. I would love to have a match against any of the guys! Especially any of the technicians, [namely Suzuki as he is my favorite].”

Shayna Baszler is currently aligned with former SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey. She last appeared on the December 30 edition of SmackDown when Rousey lost her title to Charlotte Flair.
