In a night of returns, Sheamus returned on the January 3rd edition of WWE SmackDown. Sheamus has been hyping his return for weeks in video packages.
Those video packages feature Sheamus claiming current SmackDown superstars aren’t as tough as him. In fact, he claims they are lesser men.

This should have clued us into who he might be coming after when he returns. What does lesser mean? Well, it could mean someone who isn’t very tall.
Tonight, Sheamus turned his focus on none other than Shorty G. Shorty G was in a match with Dash Wilder.
Gable picked up the win by making Wilder tap out. After the match, Dawson attacked and The Revival had the numbers advantage on Shorty G.

Sheamus’ music hit. It looked like the Celtic Warrior might be saving Shorty G. Instead, he hit Gable with a Brogue Kick.
Sheamus is back and he seems to be targetting Shorty G. Regardless of the impact of the return, one thing is for sure. Sheamus was in incredible shape upon his return.
