Sheamus returned to WWE Smackdown tonight. Well, at least, the backstage portion of Smackdown.
Sheamus cut a quick promo on tonight’s episode of Smackdown. In his promo, he called out kings, Shorty G and all of the roster for being soft.
He basically came back to make Smackdown tougher. Sheamus is definitely known to be a tough guy.

However, the last time he was around, he would routinely get chants from the crowd of “You Look Stupid!!!” This was in large part due to his mohawk haircut.
This time, he’s changed his hair. He’s gone back to his spike hair he had when he debuted.
Maybe the new hairdo will bring him some luck. He was a WWE champion and main event stalwart for a long time in WWE.

Some were unsure if Sheamus would be able to return after a serious injury that has kept him out for a while. It looks like he is coming back for a singles run.
Many had speculated he and Cesaro would answer the New Day’s open challenge. Those folks were half right. Nakamura and Cesaro would answer later in the show.
Sheamus was not the only superstar to return tonight. Alexa Bliss returned after a couple of months of being on the shelf.
Elias also returned. He serenaded Dana Brook and ran off Drake Maverick. Looks like the Smackdown creative team will have a few more toys to play with moving forward.
