WWE Star Warns Of ‘Civil War’ On Raw After Recent Loss WWE

A WWE star has sent a warning that ‘civil war’ has started following their loss on last night’s episode of Raw.

The October 27 episode of WWE Raw saw Sheamus defeated by JD McDonagh, with Finn Balor playing into the proceedings.

Not only did Balor interfere to give his Judgement Day teammate and early advantage, but he would also rob Sheamus of a pinfall victory late on in the match.

Sheamus came close to hitting the Celtic Cross on Balor, but it would be McDonagh who would be victorious moments later, thanks to a well-timed shot with the shillelagh on the Celtic Warrior.

In the aftermath of the match, Sheamus has reflected on Balor’s antics, from distractions to the shillelagh, sending a warning to his fellow Irishman, tweeting:

“Balor just started The Irish Civil War.”

The issues between Sheamus, Balor and McDonagh were also felt on last week’s episode of WWE Raw, with the Judgment Day members combining forces to pull the Celtic Warrior out of the ring during the Battle Royal to determine the opponent for CM Punk at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Both members of Judgment Day featured in that match, which would be won by Jey Uso, who goes on to face CM Punk for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on November 1.

Elsewhere on last night’s WWE Raw, Dominik Mysterio opted not to turn to Judgment Day for backup during his match against Rusev, with repercussions of his decision also playing into the November 1 special.

With John Cena retiring this year and AJ Styles following suit in 2026, Sheamus has also provided an update on whether he will be stepping away from in-ring competition.
