Sheamus WWE Retirement Update

Sheamus WWE Retirement Update WWE

An update has emerged on whether WWE star Sheamus has any upcoming plans to join some other big names in retiring from in-ring action.

There are at least two top stars whose careers are coming to an end, and a couple more who seem like they might be joining them.

John Cena will be retiring on December 13 at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, while AJ Styles has confirmed his last match will be in 2026.

Meanwhile, AEW star Samoa Joe has also said he intends to retire when his current contract ends, and Shinsuke Nakamura has said he feels his time might be coming soon as well.

One name who seemingly doesn’t plan on slowing things down, however, is Sheamus.

Sheamus, who had been out of action since WWE Clash In Paris, returned on last night’s episode of Raw in the World Heavyweight Championship #1 contender’s battle royal.

Taking to social media after the show, the Irishman dubbed last night’s appearance as the start of his ‘Never F**king Retiring Tour’, adding “Bangers never quit.”

After his elimination from the battle royal, Sheamus brawled with Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, suggesting he’ll be involved in matches with them coming soon.

The battle royal was won by Jey Uso, who will now face CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1.

Seth Rollins was stripped of the title due to injury.
