A photo has surfaced online of a WWE star hanging out with Keiji Muto.
Japanese legend Keiji Muto was inducted into the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame class after finishing out his career earlier this year. In one of his last matches, Muto, in his Great Muta persona, faced Shinsuke Nakamura at a Pro Wrestling NOAH event.
Nakamura was one of Muto’s prodigies during his time with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
On July 7, Muto took to Twitter to post a photo with Nakamura and himself having a drink in Japan. The translation for the caption reads:
The day before yesterday, a superstar came from America. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a deep drink, but it was fun!
Keiji Muto hasn’t wrestled since his Grand Final event in February where he lost back-to-back matches against Tetsuya Naito and Masahiro Chono.
Meanwhile, Shinsuke Nakamura is now a member of the Monday Night Raw brand. He last wrestled in a loss to Damian Priest on the July 3 edition of WWE Raw.
