A new tag team has emerged on tonight’s edition of WWE SmackDown with Shinsuke Nakamura announcing a new and somewhat unlikely ally.
WWE Smackdown tonight kicked off with the Usos in the ring, discussing their twelve-year history with WWE with a heartfelt tone, until flipping the switch and mocking the crowd before being interrupted by Shinsuke Nakamura.
Nakamura announced that he wouldn’t be taking on the Usos alone, he has a partner who was revealed to be Riddle.
Shortly before in the show, Michael Cole announced that Randy Orton remained injured, expanded upon by WWE’s Twitter account who tweeted a graphic reading:
Injury Update: Randy Orton is currently undergoing consultations with neurosurgeons and orthopedic spine surgeons to determine the extent of his injury and to recommended (sic) course of treatment”
