Shock Title Change On WWE NXT

During tonight’s episode of WWE NXT on the USA Network, the show’s main event saw a shock title change and the return of Pat McAfee.

The original main event for the show was to be Breezango defending the NXT Tag Team Championship against Bobby Fish & Roderick Strong of the Undisputed ERA.

However, Fish was laid out backstage by a mystery attacker, so it was decided Kyle O’Reilly would fill in. Later in the show though, Strong was attacked too leaving O’Reilly on his own.

William Regal gave O’Reilly the option to team up with someone else of his choosing, but instead, he declined and said Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan should get the match instead.

And that’s exactly what happened. As it looked like Breezango were about to retain, a masked man appeared and attacked Fandango, before Lorcan & Burch low blowed Breeze to pick up the win.

Who was the masked man? It was Pat McAfee himself. He posed with the new champs to close the show and we have a new heel alliance on WWE’s yellow brand.
