SHOCKING Title Change On WWE NXT

Tonight’s episode of WWE NXT on the USA Network played host to a truly shocking title change in the opening match of the show.

Johnny Gargano has dropped the North American Title just two weeks after winning it to none other than Leon Ruff.

NXT opened with North American Champion Johnny Gargano in the ring with a ‘spin the wheel’ which was set to determine his challenger. Prior to the show, on the wheel were the names:

 

• Roderick Strong
• Pete Dunne
• Dexter Lumis
• Bronson Reed
• Cameron Grimes
• Damian Priest
• Austin Theory
• Tommaso Ciampa
• Santos Escobar
• Adam Cole
• Velveteen Dream
• Kyle O’Reilly
• Kushida
• Timothy Thatcher

However, when the show opened, Gargano had actually put Ruff’s name over the top of Theory’s, and fixed the wheel so that it landed on him so he could have an easy defence.

However, former champion Damian Priest came out which distracted Gargano and Ruff capitalised with a roll-up for the win.
