Apparently, Shorty G had a very good reason for not being part of the Smackdown attacks on WWE Raw. Instead of invading Raw, Chad Gable and his wife welcomed their 3rd child into the family.
Charles James Betts was born weighing 9 lbs. According to WWE, both mother and child are doing great. Shorty G and Team SmackDown will now have a new supporter in their corner heading into Survivor Series.

Shorty G will represent Team Smackdown on Sunday at Survivor Series. He will join Roman Reigns, Baron Corbin, Mustafa Ali, and Braun Strowman. They’ll be going head to head with Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Ricochet, Kevin Owens, and Drew McIntyre.
Team NXT has not been announced as of this time. It appears Team NXT will not be announced until after War Games on Saturday.
Meant every word. https://t.co/AaZc0vdCNH

Other matches announced on the card include Rey Mysterio vs. Brock Lesnar, Becky Lynch vs. Bayley vs. Shayna Baszler, The Women’s Elimination match, Adam Cole vs. the Triple Threat Winner on NXT, and the mid-card title 3-way. Strangely enough, many of these matches feature guys either the same height as or shorter than Chad Gable.
Yet, somehow, he’s the only one with Shorty in his name. Go figure!
We here at WrestleTalk would like to congratulate Chad Gable and his wife Kristi on having a 3rd child and thus completing their own Survivor Series Elimination Team.
