Shota Umino has made his NJPW STRONG debut and called out an AEW star.
On the August 28 edition of NJPW STRONG, QT Marshall defeated Parker Lee and claimed no one was on his level on the show. Marshall called for another opponent, which led to the NJPW STRONG debut of Shota Umino.
Despite talking a big game, QT walked out when it looked like Shooter was ready to go one-on-one with the AEW star.
Following this debut, Umino retweeted the video of his debut by writing the following:
It was my first time in the #njpwSTRONG ring. Thank you to all the fans who were happy. All I know is that the QT Marshall is a bitch. I’m ready long ago. See you soon.
Shooter has been a long excursion after graduating from the New Japan dojo with a lengthy stint in the UK for Revolution Pro Wrestling and making an appearance for All Elite Wrestling at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view.
Umino also had an AEW All-Atlantic Championship match against PAC for Rev Pro, which you can read here.
