It’s now less than two weeks away from the biggest show on the wrestling calendar and WrestleMania 34 has added yet another big title match. It was announced on last night’s SmackDown Live that the Usos would be defending their WWE Smackdown Live Tag Team Championships in a triple threat match against the Bludgeon Brothers and the New Day.

This match shouldn’t come as a surprise to many as a feud between the three teams has been building for months now and only intensified when the Bludgeon Brothers interfered in the championship match between the Usos and the New Day at Fastlane. The Usos and the New Day have had one of the best tag team rivalries in recent memory lasting almost a year with consistent eye-catching performances.
The Summerslam Pre-Show match between the heated rivals highlighted both teams’ talents and showed that they should be featured on the main card of any pay-per-view with a genuine match of the year candidate. The Hell in a Cell match also reaffirmed both team’s storytelling abilities and hopefully has opened WWE’s eyes to include this match on Wrestlemania 34’s main show.
The addition of the Bludgeon Brothers will provide even more carnage and will undoubtedly make this an unmissable match in New Orleans. It’s also very possible that a last-minute Ladder stipulation could be added much like Raw’s tag title match last year which would fit perfectly for the superstars involved.
This year’s WrestleMania is already filled with notable tag matches including Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle vs. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon as well as Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn but don’t be surprised if this turns out to be the one that steals the show. The Usos have proven time and time again that they are one of the best tag teams on the planet and they may just finally get the WrestleMania moment they have been waiting for their whole careers.
