Sid (aka Sid Justice, Sid Vicious and Psycho Sid) could be the next name announced for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2022.
Per Andrew Zarian of The Mat Men Podcast, the former WWE Champion is set for an induction at this year’s ceremony. It is worth noting that WWE hasn’t confirmed or officially announced Sid’s inclusion in the Class of 2022.
Zarian tweeted:
“Hearing Sid will be inducted in this year’s WWE Hall of Fame”
Sid was a huge star in the 1990s, notably wrestling Hulk Hogan in the main event of WrestleMania VIII in 1992, and battling The Undertaker in the main event of WrestleMania 13 in 1997. Sid is a formerWWE Champion (then WWF Champion) and WCW World Heavyweight titleholder, holding both titles on two separate occasions respectively.
The 2022 Hall of Fame ceremony will air on April 1, the day before the first night of WrestleMania 38. There has reportedly been talk within WWE of doing some of the inductions digitally, rather than physically at the ceremony.
The Undertaker and Vader have officially been announced for the Class of 2022.
