Sin Cara, who most recently competed in the 51-man Battle Royal at June’s Super ShowDown, but other than that hasn’t appeared on WWE TV or even at a house show since August last year, could be making his return soon.
The former NXT Tag Team Champion underwent knee surgery following an injury he suffered in a house show match in August last year. He was cleared to return back in March but hasn’t wrestled since then, other than the aforementioned Saudi Battle Royal.
Cara tweeted out the following earlier today, promoting a WWE house show in his hometown of El Paso, Texas on September 27, with the caption “it’s time”:
It’s time,

Cara is still officially listed as a member of the SmackDown Live roster, and has been doing a lot of media appearances for the company during his time outside the ring.
