Money in the Bank qualifiers continued on this week’s episode of the blue brand show. Here is a summary…

Rusev shockingly pinned Daniel Bryan after a Machka kick in a Money in the Bank qualifier. The commentators played it up like Bryan had been worn down by his beatings over the past few weeks.  Big Cass wasn’t on the show. Will MITB be Rusev Day?

The Miz pinned Jeff Hardy to qualify for MITB with a brilliant finish which saw him quickly counter the Swanton into a half nelson roll up for the three count. Has anyone else noticed how much The Miz has improved in the ring of late?

Charlotte made Peyton Royce tap to the Figure Eight in a MITB qualifier. I still can’t believe Charlotte lost clean to Carmella at Backlash.

Mandy Rose pinned Becky Lynch. Mandy is another whose in-ring work has improved hugely. Before the match Paige banned Sonya Deville from ringside.

AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura both did backstage promos with Renee Young where they basically said their issue is far from over. Nakamura’s was hilarious as he discovered how to speak English again and called AJ “nuts”.

Cesaro pinned Xavier Woods with an uppercut. The highlight of this match was Big E chucking pancakes everywhere.

Carmella did a selfie promo where she brilliantly gloated about beating Charlotte and said next week in London there will be a ‘Royal Mellabration’ in the same week as the Royal Wedding but Harry, Meghan, William and Kate are not invited. That should be worth watching.

There were lots more inset promos from people who want to win Money in the Bank but probably won’t. Like Tye Dillinger.

Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas and Zelina Vega will debut in London next week.
