SmackDown Live Star Explains Controversial Ring Gear

Smackdown Live and SAnitY member Killian Dain has recently debuted some new ring gear in the form of a singlet, and it has not gone down well with fans on Twitter, with many lambasting WWE management for enforcing an unnecessary change.

The only problem is that it wasn’t management’s decision. The Northern Irishman defended Road Dogg Jesse James – who was on the receiving end of much of the criticism – on Twitter and revealed that the singlet was his own design.

It’s understandable that many believed WWE‘s had ordered the alteration. The company has a history of making performers cover up if they don’t feel they’re in the right shape. Road Dogg – real name Brian James – blocked one Twitter user before telling a second that the singlet was the SAnitY powerhouse’s own idea.

Then the former ‘Big Damo’ stepped in and backed up the Smackdown Live producer.

The gear was made by JJ Wrestling Creations, who thanked Dain for wearing it on Tuesday.
