Find out what happened on tonight’s WWE SmackDown with the Bloodline as Sami Zayn appeared alongside Jey Uso.
Sami Zayn and Jey Uso continue to be the most unlikely of pairs as the Honorary Uce took on Kofi Kingston on WWE SmackDown.
In a backstage segment before the match, as Zayn received a call from Roman Reigns, he was jovial until instructed to hand the phone to Jey Uso.
After a brief exchange, Jey relented whatever protest he attempted to wage, affirming,”You’re the Tribal Chief, I got you,” and handed the phone back to Sami who then joked around again with Roman while Jey asked what he said.
Zayn declined to report.
Accompanied by a still fired up Jey Uso, the Honorary Uce kicked off WWE SmackDown with a fun back and forth match with the former WWE Champ, Kingston.
After a massive Super Kick to the face of Xavier Woods on the outside from Jey Uso distracted Kingston, Zayn his a Blue Thunder Bomb but Kofi miraculously kicked out.
After Kingston missed a Trouble in Paradise, Sami Zayn was near a roll up victory on Kingston until he reversed but Uso was standing by with the big assist to roll Kofi back, handing the pinfall victory to Zayn.
Elsewhere planned for tonight’s October 14 episode, the return of Bray Wyatt to SmackDown after over two years away from the blue brand.
