SmackDown Re-Written For July 22 After Brock Lesnar Walks Out WWE

On the heels of Vince McMahon shock retirement announcement and Brock Lesnar walking out, backstage at SmackDown sounds intense!

With the massive news breaking today of Vince McMahon retiring and subsequently Brock Lesnar walking out ahead of SmackDown’s taping tonight, the info keeps rolling in.

In an update to an earlier article, Fightful Select has reported SmackDown has been re-written to no longer feature Brock Lesnar at all.

As we previously reported, Lesnar was still advertised to appear on tonight’s show late in the afternoon however that has recently been changed and he is no longer noted on WWE.com as scheduled to appear.

McMahon’s announcement comes on the heels of continued investigations regarding alleged sexual misconduct including millions in “hush pact” payments made to former employees and contractors related to alleged incidents.
