Current WWE SmackDown star Liv Morgan believes she and Natalya are “destined” to have an incredible one-on-one match at WrestleMania.
Both members of the SmackDown brand, Morgan and Natalya train together regularly and have already done battle at WrestleMania twice to date.
Speaking on the ‘We Enjoy…‘ podcast, Morgan said:
“Nattie and I are destined to have a 20-minute WrestleMania match that is going to blow everyone’s mind. I train at Nattie’s weekly and we have this amazing chemistry and she’s such a great teacher. I’m so grateful to be able to have ring time when we’re only doing two shows a week and I’m only on one of them. We’re gonna have the greatest women’s WrestleMania match ever.”
In April 2020, Morgan beat Natalya in a singles match on the WrestleMania 36 night 2 pre-show, and on night 1 of WrestleMania 37 earlier this month, Natalya and Tamina beat Morgan and Ruby Riott in the final round of the #1 contender tag team turmoil match.
That puts them at 1-1, so there’s a score to settle if that’s the route they and WWE want to take.
Morgan is a lot better in the ring than many people give her credit for, and building chemistry like that with a veteran like Natalya, you have to think the culmination of it all would make for a quite the match.
