A SmackDown star says Triple H is trying to bring the edge back to their character.
On the September 2 edition of WWE SmackDown, Baron Corbin lost to Shinsuke Nakamura and disappeared in JBL’s limo. He hasn’t been seen on WWE television since.
Corbin has been through many character changes during his time in WWE from “The Lone Wolf” to Happy Corbin.
After his last appearance, it looks as if the former Mr. Money In The Bank will experience another one under the Triple H regime of WWE.
Speaking on the Johnny Dare Morning Show, Corbin was asked for his thoughts on working with Triple H.
He answered:
“He’s a guy who, when I came into NXT, he was a guy who really grabbed onto me and helped develop me and create who I was. My first entrance, he brought that whole motorcycle vibe, that drudgy rock music where I walked in and I had spotlights over my head. That was all his vision. It’s cool to have him back because he has now kind of taken what I’ve been doing and going, ‘How do we put more edge back on you? How do we make you a little more badass again?’ That feels good to have that.”
As previously reported, Baron Corbin was praised by a top AEW star during a recent interview.
