SmackDown Star Shotzi Quietly Turned Babyface?

It was reported several weeks back that there would be several heel and babyface turns in WWE, as Vince McMahon felt a number of stars were currently being ‘miscast’.

One name in particular that fans have claimed is being miscast since her heel turn last year is SmackDown star Shotzi, who became popular as a babyface in NXT due to her unique look, including an entrance with a tank.

Shotzi was devoured by Ronda Rousey in under two minutes on last week’s SmackDown show, but that may have been her final appearance as a heel, if social media is anything to go by.

The Nassau Coliseum shared a clip prior to this week’s (May 6) episode of the show, which saw Shotzi hype the show, wearing the helmet that she has not worn since she turned heel back in November.

Furthermore, Shotzi shared a photo from a WWE photoshoot on her Instagram, where again, she was sporting the helmet she rocked as a babyface.

We will have to wait until SmackDown to see if she’s being presented as a babyface on TV, but it appears to be the case based on these posts.
