A SmackDown star has teased an appearance on tomorrow night’s WWE Raw in Glasgow, Scotland (March 24).
After raucous televised shows in from of the crowds of Barcelona, Brussels and Bologna, WWE heads to the OVO Hydro in Glasgow for tomorrow night’s WWE Raw.
While top stars such as John Cena, Cody Rhodes and CM Punk are set to appear on the show, one name not currently advertised is Scotland’s most successful wrestling export Drew McIntyre.
Speaking to The Daily Star, McIntyre insisted that he’s been “shouting at the right people” in WWE in order to be booked for an appearance in his home country:
“Let’s just say I’ve been shouting about it. You never know what’s going to happen in WWE but I’ve not been quiet about it for the past few months so we’ll see and keep our fingers and toes crossed because I promise you, the right people have been getting shouted at by me.”
While previously a fixture of Monday Night Raw, McIntyre was drafted to SmackDown during the WWE ‘Transfer Window’ earlier this year, where he is currently feuding with Damian Priest ahead of WrestleMania 41.
As of now WWE has not announced if McIntyre vs. Priest will feature on the two-night WrestleMania 41 card, however, one huge match was announced following Friday’s SmackDown in Bologna, Italy – for full details follow this link here.
